Plagiarism Policy

Zero tolerance for academic dishonesty. All work must be original and properly cited.

Examination Conduct

Strict procedures maintained to ensure fair assessment for all students.

All research must follow institutional review board guidelines and ethical standards.

Academic Progress & Performance Standards

GPA Requirements

  • • Minimum 2.0 GPA for good standing
  • • Academic warning at 1.8-1.99 GPA
  • • Probation at 1.5-1.79 GPA
  • • Suspension below 1.5 GPA

Course Completion

  • • Complete courses within program timeframe
  • • Maximum 2 attempts per course
  • • Withdrawal deadlines apply
  • • Medical documentation required for extensions

Clinical Requirements

  • • Mandatory clinical hours completion
  • • Professional attire required
  • • Confidentiality agreements mandatory
  • • Background checks for clinical placements

Disciplinary Procedures

Minor Violations

First offense: Written warning and counseling session

Second offense: Disciplinary probation and parent notification

Major Violations

Includes: Academic dishonesty, violence, substance abuse

Consequences: Suspension, expulsion, or legal action depending on severity

Appeals Process

Students have the right to appeal disciplinary decisions within 5 days

Appeals reviewed by Student Conduct Committee with faculty representation

Attendance & Participation Policies

Classroom Attendance

  • • Minimum 75% attendance required to pass
  • • Medical certificates required for absences
  • • Late arrival policy: 3 lates = 1 absence
  • • Participation grades included in final assessment

Clinical/Practical Sessions

  • • 100% attendance mandatory
  • • No makeup sessions for unexcused absences
  • • Professional dress code strictly enforced
  • • Punctuality essential for patient safety
